On the 16th of June we blogged this: On 15th April 2015 the LACE Initiative, a European Commission Support Action for the promotion of Learning Analytics, invited its members and associate partners into a Workshop event with the support of the European Parliament to discuss and propose possible EU Public Policies guidelines and best practices for fostering Educational Data Mining and Learning Analytics.
During that Workshop on the 15th of April, Marieke van der Schaaf (UU) and Denise Janssen (Mateum) presented Project WATCHME the overview of the project. Look up this presentation here
As a result of this meeting the initiative to write a LACE LAW manifesto was established . Today Marco Paini thanks all those who have contributed to the improvement of this document, and I would like to remember you that this manifesto is a living document, so new comments, suggestions and use cases are welcomed and can still be added to the document by contacting me in private. Please, feel free to share the document with your colleagues or to anyone you think can be interested in Learning Analytics at the workplace, and to share the link through social networks.
