The Dieter Scheffner Center for Medical Education and Educational Research at Charité University Berlin, had its yearly symposium held between 19th and 20th of November 2015. Approximately 100 participants from all over Germany took part in a two-day symposium on the topic Entrustable Professional Activities in Medical Studies. Two guests speakers attended the symposium: Prof. Carrie Chen who gave a presentation titled “Applying EPAs to UME: Questions and Considerations” and Prof. Olle Ten Cate who gave the presentation “Entrustable Professional Activities – an approach to competency-based medical education and practice”.
