Pihel Hunt and Gerli Silm from the University of Tartu, Estonia participated in the 21st JURE (JUnior REsearchers of European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction) conference at the University of Helsinki, Finland, on July, 4-8, 2016. The conference theme was “Education in a dynamic world: Facing the future” and its aim was to enhance the field of education by raising questions about how we can make our education future-proof. The overall aim of the activities in the conference was to set the stage for dialogue on state-of-the-art developments in research on learning and instruction between experts and junior researchers.  Pihel Hunt gave a presentation „Using a rubric for the performance-based assessment of student teachers“, where she introduced the results of the pilot study carried out at the University of Tartu in spring 2015 within the WATCHME project.
