The Earli Sig 1 on assessment and evaluation took place between 24-26 August in Munich, Germany (http://www.earli-sig1-conference.org ). SIG was established as a platform for dialogue between scholars with a focus on classroom assessment and scholars with an orientation toward large-scale assessment and program evaluation. About 100 researchers and scholars in the fields of educational sciences and assessment from all over the world attended this conference. Educational and technical Watchme partners (Denise Janssen, Martijn Holthuijsen, Geraldine Clarebout, Jeroen Donkers, Bert Slof and Marieke van der Schaaf) did a joint demonstration Learning Analytics enhanced E-portfolios for Workplace Based Assessment in which they presented and discussed with attendees, how an e-portfolio can be enhanced with learning analytics. They presented the EPASS system, with the integrated learning analytics, which were developed in the Watchme project. The audience was interested in the usage of the system and the application of the enhanced EPASS system in their own universities. For more information, please visit the following link:
